This research included both PGA of Canada members & CFMs and facility-based employers, enabling an analysis of roles, behaviors and confidence/competency from both the golf professionals' and employers' perspec ves. The surveys were administered in both English and French, assuring representa on across all provinces. PGA of Canada Member and CFM surveys were distributed by PGA Canada. The 502 golf professional respondents were representa ve of the membership, primarily Class "A" members, but also including representa on among CFMs. Those not currently employed at a golf facility (12%) were excluded from the main sec on of the survey, which focused on facility roles. RESPONDENTS REPRESENTED A RANGE OF FACILITY TYPES AND JOB TITLES: Employer surveys were distributed to owners/managers by NGCOA of Canada, who are partners in sponsoring the research. These 254 respondents, primarily owners and general managers, were also representa ve of various types of facili es: SEMI- PRIVATE 44 % PUBLIC 31 % RESORT 6 % OTHER 6 % PRIVATE CLUB 13 %
