But, it can be done in British Columbia, as the third most-populated province in the country is home to a plethora of fabulous golf facilities from Vancouver Island and along the Pacific Coast to the greater mainland and adjacent to the Canadian Rockies. DID YOU KNOW? Canada's westernmost province is home to 304 golf facilities, with 94 percent open to the public. The game of golf contributes an estimated $2.08 billion toward British Columbia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) which includes 44,000 jobs; $1.27 billion in household income; $167 million in property and other indirect taxes; and about $298 million in federal and provincial income taxes.**
