13 Through the presenta on of the survey and interview results we will begin to paint a pic- ture of how golf professionals achieved roles as Head Professionals. Specifically, analysis focus on the key ques ons of the research, namely: What is the career path and me line of a typical PGA of Canada head professional? What roles and/or learning experiences are most impac ul to having a successful career? What mindset, educa on, cer fica on and memberships help to accelerate a head professional's career? PROFILE OF RESPONDENTS - 138 Head Professionals completed the online survey sent electronically to all PGA of Canada Head Professionals. As reflected by the percentages below, the survey respondents represent a mature and extremely experienced group of Head Professionals: 60 % Have been working in the golf industry for more than 20 years 0% 100% 30 % Have 15 or more years of experience as Head Professionals 0% 100% 70 % Have been Head Professionals for more than 6 years 0% 100% 84 % Currently work at a private or semi-private club 0% 100% 51 % Currently employed in a rural club / facility with 49 % employed in an urban club / facility 0% 100% SURVEY RESULTS
