PGA OF CANADA: ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES THE PGA OF CANADA Since 1911 T he research was conducted during the spring 2016 via an online survey. Par cipants included PGA of Canada Class "A" Members, PGA of Canada CFMs, NGCCOA Canada member facili es and remaining facili es in Canada (based on the Golf Facili es in Canada-2015 Edi on). There were 726 total survey respondents. Of those, 502 were either PGA of Canada Class "A" Members or CFMs. Two-hun- dred and fi y-four were either owners or general managers. Two versions of the survey were available: one for PGA of Cana- da members and CFMs, and one for owner/operators and gen- eral managers. The survey was distributed to PGA members, CFMs, NGCOA Canada member facili es and any remaining facili es in Canada. The core of the survey for PGA of Canada members and CFMs gathered responses on what roles he or she is engaged in; his or her level of responsibility; role importance personally and to the organiza on; me spent on that role and confidence in con- duc ng the role. The core of the survey of owner/operators was similar, but for the owner/operator to report on their professional's roles, re- sponsibility levels, me spent and competence.
