Some notable outcomes of the research are already in development, such as: · Job profiles for the five core job tles · Spotlight on areas of lower confidence being addressed through professional development · More detailed understanding of role importance and ideal me alloca on to promote discussion between employers and professionals · Alignment and differences in percep on between professionals and employers · Be er understanding of the roles and responsibili es of a golf professional to develop and align training for Candidates for Membership. However, neither the research nor this key messages document is a finished product. In fact, both are con nually evolving and we encourage feedback from PGA of Canada professionals and Candidates for Membership. This is only the p of the iceberg of the data collected and insights. We will con nue to use these findings to best support PGA of Canada members and Candidates for Membership through not only direct and prac cal resources, but also through the founda on it provides associa on staff and the na onal board for employment and career support; direc on and content for professional develop- ment; and review of exis ng Candidate for Membership educa on. Again, we wish to thank the PGA of Canada members and Candidates for Membership who par c- ipated—this Roles and Responsibili es research project would not have been possible without your inclusion.
