PGA OF CANADA: ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES TIME ALLOCATION It was important to understand both the reported me spent by the professionals on each role and grouped into key areas. But it was also to gather data on the me they would like to spend on the roles. As well, employers reported on their percep on of the professionals me spent and their ideal. The bar graph shows some discrepancies in player development and managing daily play and event plan- ning. In Player Development, professionals want to spend more me than currently, but employers see current and ideal as the same. In managing daily play and events, professionals would like to spend less me in this key area than currently. The PGA of Canada will con nue work with the NGCOA Canada to be er understand these discrepencies. As a result of these findings, if PGA of Canada members and CFMs want to spend more me on teaching and coaching, how can the associa on support with ongoing training, resources and educa on in a mul tude of pla orms. As a result of these findings, the PGA of Canada will con nue to develop ongoing resources and educa on for members and CFMs in roles they are spending signifcant me performing.
