www.pgaofcanada.com #PGACDC What is Coach of Developing Competitors? The Coach of Developing Competitors (CDC) workshop is a six-day workshop designed for coaches supporting developing athletes. Any PGA of Canada member is able to a end this workshop, there are no pre-requisites or prior training re- quired. Expect six days of action packed interactive ses- sions with a real coach camp feel to entire work- shop. Put theory into practicality as every mod- ule over the week will have outdoor components included. The six modules include Developing Athletic Abilities; Analyze Technical and Tactical Performance; Performance Planning; Planning a Practice 2; Make Ethical Decisions; and Psychology of Performance. Only golf coaching certification program recog- nized by leading sport organizations like Sport Canada and the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC), and has generated interest from PGA's and golf associations around the world. When: January 26th - 31st, 2015 Where: PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance (PGA Village), Port St. Lucie, Florida Who: Coaches who want to work with athletes who are taking competition more seriously. Why: Give yourself an advantage in the coaching market when recruiting athletes while being a leader in the profession of coaching in golf as you learn at a world class facility. How: Registration is currently available on www.pgaofcanada.com on the "Education Schedule" unti l January 12th. Only the first 20 coaches registered will be confirmed. Cost: $1,500* (*PGA bursaries and other funding opportunities available to help offset costs)
