No. 12—Scott Allred—Elbow Springs Golf Club, Alta.—There's no other way to say it: Scott Allred knows how to consistently get the job done. Check out his recent tournament scoring details and you'll quickly realize this guy is a top-10 machine on both the zone and national stage. No. 13—Dean North—Carman Golf & Curling Club, Man.—Dean North knows a lot about winning—he's a virtual lock at PGA of Manitoba events and has been named the zone player of the year nine times since 1997. Might this be the year North wins a few more matches and takes a run at Magna? No. 14—Graham Gunn—Whitesands Golf & Practice Centre, Ont.—Graham Gunn has competed in and won some of the biggest golf championships in not only Canada, but around the world. He's played in the Canadian Open, the Senior U.S. and British Opens and is a past champion of the PGA Club Professional Championship of Canada and the PGA Seniors' Championship of Canada. No. 15—Yvan Beauchemin—Club de Golf La Tempete, Que.—With four PGA Club Professional Championship of Canada wins and a PGA Seniors' Championship of Canada victory, Yvan Beauchemin is definitely a legend. The 55-year old could play a role in deciding this year's PGA Championship of Canada winner. No. 16—Chris Barber—The Landings Golf Course & Teaching Centre, Ont.—Last year, Chris Barber was unable to attend the PGA Championship of Canada due to family reasons. In 2011 at Cottonwood however, he was a quarter-finalist in the Stan Leonard bracket. No. 17—Dean Brown—The Royal Regina Golf Club, Sask.—With one of the best swings in the country, Dean Brown's ball-striking is a treat to watch. In 2012, he won both the PGA of Saskatchewan Club Pro Championship and Zone Championship. He also made it thru to the semi-finals at the PGA Championship of Canada in 2011. No. 18—Edd Boudreau—Gorge Vale Golf Course, Chris Barber B.C.—The 2004 PGA Assistants' Championship of Canada winner had an impressive bounce-back campaign in 2012. The highlight of his competitive year surely came at last year's PGA Championship of Canada at Country Hills where he finished third, besting the upstart Brad Clapp on the final day. No. 19—David Zibrik—Seymour Creek Golf Centre, B.C.—It's said that the type of player who will fair well at Manga is the guy who can just smash it and make lots of birdies. Dave Zibrik is that type of player. He finished fourth at last year's PGA of BC Zone Championship and 12th at the PGA Assistants' Championship of Canada. No. 20—Marc Girouard—Diamant Club de Golf, Que.—The talented 51-year old makes his PGA Championship of Canada debut at Magna. He routinely factors in both PGA of Quebec Zone Championships and national championships as well—including a fifth place finish at last year's PGA Club Professional Championship of Canada. No. 21—Vincent Dumouchel—Vallee Du Richelieu Club de Golf, Que.—Two years ago at Cottonwood in Calgary, Vincent Dumouchel had an improbably run thru six matches, capturing the historic P.D. Ross Trophy. Like Laporte, past champions are always worth watching out for. No. 22—Daniel Talbot— Centre De Pratique De Golf Sports Montreal, Que.—The six-time PGA Tour Canada winner makes his PGA Championship of Canada debut and looks to make an impact early and often at Magna. In 2012, he captured the PGA of Quebec Club Pro Championship and finished fourth at the PGA Seniors' Championship of Canada.
