An individual 'Career Map' was created for each Head Teaching Professional interviewed for the study (see Appendix A). Each map describes the roles held, length of me in each role, key learnings, the educa on, cer fica on, profession- al development acquired, and other noteworthy career achievements. Appendix B illustrates a composite career map compiled from analyzing the 10 individual career maps. The composite map was created to describe the typical roles, me frame, recommended developmental expe- riences, educa on, cer fica on, and memberships that seemed common to all 10 Head Professionals. IT IS IMPORTANT TO MENTION, WHILE THERE WERE NOTEWORTHY SIMILARITIES, EACH HEAD TEACHING PROFESSIONAL HAD A UNIQUE CAREER PATH.
